Bar Theo — Galaxie Nites, Amsterdam.

Bar Theo isn’t just another bar, here the music actually matters. And not the typical Hi-Fi concept, here there’s proper tunes and people who are there for it. We threw a very Amsterdamer version of Galaxie Nites.

Bar Theo is one of the few spots in Amsterdam where music is front and center, outside the whole Hi-Fi setup. From the start it’s been packed and peeps showing up actually care about the music. Having the Galaxie Nites crew in the mix made it the perfect setup for an intimate time to mess around.
This was the second GN celebration we put together in Amsterdam. This time, the vibes were all about that dutch “gezelligheid” mixed with the Mexican “cotorreo,” bringing fresh crowds from around the city. Proper summer feeling no doubt. We also had some sick artwork from Diego (Young Drums), straight from Mexico, which added a nice touch and got printed in nice A3’s, which was sick.
The lineup and crew this time included a solid bunch and Juanma representing a private collective called Villa. We kicked things off early, setting the tone with smooth but fun vibes for those droppin’ in after work. As the night went on, things naturally built up, and by the time we wrapped up around 2-3 AM, we were definitely touching on that club level.
We dropped this one coming back from a week of straight partying at Love International, so the need for chilling and cozy feelings were all time in our minds.

This time around GN had a different spice, absolutely much more integrated in the Amsterdam local vibes. I believe the intimacy was a big part in this edition, nothing was outside the good and loving vibes.
This one came right after a full week of non-stop madness at Love International, so we were craving something a bit more cozy and chilled. GN had a different spice this time, way more woven into Amsterdam’s local vibe. The intimacy of it all made it special, just pure loving energy all around.
