Dreamphase — Dany E.

A few years back, someone asked me in an interview what track had really hit me and which artists I’d recommend. No hesitation, Dreamphase’s fast BPMs were a game changer. The kind of tunes I heard at those parties set a reference. This mixtape it’s basically reflecting that impact, a high level & true project.
More:
Dreamphase had me dancing for all the right reasons. At the time, it was emerging in Amsterdam—pure energy, pure fun. All vinyl, just proper tunes that made you move.
I didn’t hesitate to recommend my mate Akemio Grey, who runs Dreamphase. Those tracks that were inspiring me I still listen and still find every vinyl a joy. The fast BPMs weren’t about darkness, hardcore vibes, or those heavy, flat beats. It was all about fun, joyful danceable vibes.
That’s what made Dreamphase parties special. Quality music, full-on energy. Couldn’t help but be drawn in, especially since half the dancers were mates and Akemio was playing killing sets while we were jumping around. That combo of speed but fun, and top-tier selection is rather rare, fast paced BPM’s aren’t easy to mix with joyful and fine taste.
Over time, I’ve introduced more fast BPMs into my sets—nothing extreme, just enough to keep the groove going. And honestly, seeing how my whole sound has shaped my style has been wild. So, when I got the invite to make a mixtape I was really happy and mtoivated. Had to let some of those fast demons loose for once. This one’s a proper selection to Dreamphase and its influence on me.
