Morgan Geist and Kelley Polar come together as their first duo, dropping a complete album. The tracks are clearly an incredible result based on their prior work, while breaking new grounds: Au Suisse. Control, one of the tracks, has an incredible progression and rich sounds. Morgan Geist has been for quite a while a huge inspirational source throughout my career. It was a no brainer even when I was young…when I heard my first electronic music records.

It was Metro Area – Miura, that if I’m not wrong, was one of my first entire tracks to own. Before that, I started to mix the Global-Underground cd’s, so mixing entire tracks was in that moment a big thing, definitely a luxury. Don’t judge me, I was 14.

When I first read/listened a teaser of Au Suisse on his social’s, I was in the moment putting the release on my “agenda”… because i don’t even have an agenda, but I’ve added an alarm to that day. I’ve listened to the albumin one go, I was traveling form Amsterdam to Paris for a gig, and arriving there I thought “man…this track Control is so massive, but I need to extract all that hidden energy form it so I can play it”.

I couldn’t wait to be back at home-studio and start with it. Once a few weeks passed, I’ve encountered a beautiful soul, from whom inspiration was a nicely welcome drive to get hands on & make it happen. The whole process of it was then delightful, and the result was well within what I first thought. Is nice to share this rework, and although is not official, it has everything I could ask from any approach for music I would ever need.
